Dream Stream Fly Fishing Trips
Dream Stream Fly Fishing
Addictive Angling Colorado Fly Fishing Guide Trips are the premier Guide Service for the Dream Stream. The Dream Stream section of the South Platte River is a 5 1/2 mile stretch of the South Platte that flows between Spinney Reservoir and Elevenmile Reservoir. The Dream Stream is known for its supersized trout and prolific hatches that make this area a fly fishermen's paradise. The consistent water levels keep the river fishable year round. In the Winter months, large trout can be targeted by fishing small subsurface flies on light lines, while having the river almost entirely to yourself. In March and April, the Spring run of large Rainbow Trout, Cuttbow Trout, and Snake River Cutthroat Trout makes the Dream Stream the place to be if you are chasing some of the largest trout in Colorado. The summer months offer excellent fly fishing as trout feed heavily on the multiple hatches that occur on this fertile stretch of the South Platte. Fall is a favorite time of year by many anglers on the Dream Stream. In September and October, Addictive Angling Colorado will focus on helping people chase the large Brown Trout and Kokanee Salmon that enter the river out of Elevenmile Reservoir. These fish are big and in some cases reach over 30 inches and upwards of 15 pounds. Book your Dream Stream Fly Fishing Trip today!
